Abstract:
The aim of this talk is to explain a general construction of scalar-flat Kähler cone metrics starting from extremal Kähler metrics. I will begin with a brief overview of Calabi's canonical metric problem and the weighted generalization by Lahdili, which captures many classical notions of canonical metrics within a unified framework. I will then discuss the motivation behind the construction and explain how it can be formulated in terms of weighted geometry. Finally, I will outline the main idea of the proof, which relies on a perturbation argument. This talk is based on joint work with Vestislav Apostolov and Abdellah Lahdili.
